Ashdod Promenade

Only walking distance from the hotel, the Ashdod promenade stretches over approximately three kilometers from the market area all the way to Shemesh Square, connecting several beaches and including a walking route, seating, innovative sports equipment, cafés, and kiosks, making it especially suitable for sporting activities or a romantic walk by the sea.

Ashdod Sea Park

A 50-acre entertainment and leisure park for the whole family, including a large lake for boating with a colorful fountain inspired by the "Magic Fountain" of Barcelona. The park also features a giant amphitheater, sports courts, amusement facilities, a rollerblading park, and a restaurant by the lake, as well as a sculpture garden with a biblical theme. An art gallery will also be constructed next to the park, showcasing rotating exhibitions. The park will be officially opened in April 2013.


The Blue Marina

The pearl of the Ashdod seashore, the Blue Marina is a modern harbor serving approximately 550 yachts and other boats, as well as a beautiful promenade with restaurants offering a wide range of fresh fish dishes. The Marina is considered one of Israel's largest real estate projects, and in the future it will include approximately 1,000 luxury residences, commercial centers, and hotels.


Jonah's Hill & Lachish Park

Jonah's Hill is located next to the Ashdod port. Here, according to tradition, is the final resting place of the prophet Jonah. A well-tended park now marks the spot, and the towering hill is topped by the lighthouse of Ashdod Port. The hill offers a spectacular viewpoint for the port, the various quarters of the city, and the Mediterranean, from Palmachim beach in the north to Ashkelon in the south.

Down in the foothills is the Lachish Park. A leisure and entertainment site, the green park stretches over 160 acres, with a promenade, lawns, ornamental trees, sculptures, and specially-designed benches. The park also includes a zoo and an extreme sports park – Etgarim Park.


Etgarim Park

An extreme experience park for the whole family, located within a pastoral promenade in Lachish Park. Suitable for all ages, the young and young at heart, the park offers countless attractions including a zipline, climbing wall, rappelling, bungee jumping, a Bedouin tent, petting zoo, a children's play area, and more.


Ashdod Yam Fortress

For a taste of Ashdod's glorious history, visit the Ashdod Yam Fortress – an archaeological site from the Ancient Arab Era of the 8th century at the south of the city, near the Tet-Vav Quarter. The impressive fortress, which was named Kal'at Al-Mina, meaning "port fortress", was established to protect the city from Byzantine ships attempting to invade the area via the Mediterranean.


Street Market & Car Market

Every Wednesday from the early hours until sunset, a colorful, vibrant market takes place in the large Lido Beach parking lot, where traders present their wares to thousands of visiting buyers.
