Prepare the Inflatables - Water, Water, and More Water

There's nothing more delightful than entering freezing water in the scorching heat. Despite our challenging location, Israel boasts quite a few wet places where you can spend a few hours or even a whole day without noticing the time pass. Naturally, the north of the country offers a concentration of water sources, including sweet springs, deep pools, flowing streams, and wading pools.

The Sahne

The Gan HaShlosha (Sahne) National Park is the ultimate option for family fun. It's pretty close and has everything you need to ensure happy and exhausted children by the end of the day. With a spring flowing all year round at a constant and comfortable temperature, vast meadows, waterfalls, and deep pools, the Sahne is undoubtedly at the top of our list of summer activities for kids. Make sure to visit there at least once!

Jilabun Waterfall

The Jilabun Waterfall in the Golan Heights is one of the area's highest and most impressive waterfalls, with a large and refreshing swimming pool at its base. The descent to the waterfall is challenging, but if you arrive early enough, you can enjoy the cool breeze and wade in the water when the temperatures outside soar. The Jilabun Waterfall offers a wild nature experience with cool, clear water, thick vegetation, and an unforgettable adventure for the kids. However, remember that the pool is bottomless, so children must know how to swim to dive deeper.
In the same category of waterfalls and natural pools, you can also explore Ein Tina, the famous spring of the Hula Valley, the fantastic hexagonal pool, and a long line of springs scattered throughout the northern region.

Central Israel

Even if there are no flowing water sources in the center, residents and guests are not at a disadvantage. Mekorot Ha'Yarakon Park offers fabulous wading pools, and of course, there's the largest and most inspiring source of water—the Mediterranean. A day at the beach is a must if you're looking for summer activities for kids, and it can fill an entire day with fun. From the natural coastal strip of Dor Habonim Beach through the well-kept beaches of Tel Aviv to the fabulous Lido Beach in Ashdod, you have long hours of fun ahead. Prepare a mat and a watermelon, and let the sea do the rest.

Culture in the Air Conditioning Sounds Like an Excellent Idea

While some may regularly visit museums, most don't, especially not with the kids. Summer is the perfect opportunity to open your mind to new directions. Explore classical art exhibitions at the Tel Aviv Museum and heritage museums like the Anu Museum, the Peres Peace Center, or the Palmach Museum. Engage with experiential science exhibitions at Technoda, MedaTech, or the Carasso Science Park, and participate in summer activities for kids at boutique museums such as the Comic Museum in Holon, the Museum of Illusions at the Tel Aviv Port, and the Ilana Goor Museum.
Keep an eye on current exhibitions at more famous museums, such as the Tel Aviv Museum, the Israel Museum, and the Natural History Museum.

Summer Activities for Kids When the Sun Goes Down

Going out for an evening activity with the kids has many benefits. Night activities are incredibly cool as they offer a break from the routine. The evenings are pleasant, and you have a valid excuse for letting the kids sleep in the next day, saving you a few more hours of "I'm bored."

Nature and Parks Activities

The Nature and Parks dedicated activities for the summer, including lantern walks, live performances at sunset, tours following nocturnal animals, and street games.
You can also spontaneously leave the house in the evening, grab a snack, and head to the beach with a basket. Enjoy wading in the water up to your knees, watching the sunset, and then lying back and stargazing.

Workshops, Playgrounds and Indoor Activities

In Israel, we've long understood the power and beauty of air conditioning. From Eilat to Metula, various attractions offer indoor activities with one notable advantage—air conditioning and enough space for parents to relax.
Enjoy skating rinks, ninja complexes, a Gymboree for the little ones, and diverse mall activities. The workshop market is booming, offering opportunities to learn and explore various fields, from chocolate, baking, and cooking workshops to carpentry, painting, comics, and sculpture.
You'll also find yoga workshops, surfing and SUP courses, self-defense workshops, and many sports activities.
No matter what you choose, you'll end the day with tired and satisfied children. We recommend booking a place in one of our hotels to gather enough energy for another day of adventure!
